These two statements are the ones we come back to whenever we plan a service, start a ministry, or decide what gets our time.
Our Vision
Establishing Ministries and Releasing Destinies through the preaching of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, being the power of God unto salvation to all that believe.
Our Mission & Purpose
To exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and make His truth and love known; to evangelize the lost for Christ; to edify and equip the body of Christ; and to reach our community for Christ.
Four convictions
Ask anyone here what this church is about and you will hear some version of these four.
Scripture, undiluted
We teach the word of God plainly and without apology — because a faith you understand is a faith you can stand on.
Everyone has a destiny
We believe God placed gifts in every person here. Our job is to help you find yours and then get out of the way.
Open doors
Pentecostal in conviction, wide open in practice. Come as you are, ask hard questions, take your time.
Ready for His return
We equip the saints in preparation for the second coming of Christ — living now with that day in view.
What that looks like on a Sunday
- Doors open at 10:00 AM — the same time the service starts, so there is no need to arrive early.
- About two hours of worship, teaching and prayer. Come as you are; there is no dress code.
- Kids' Church runs for roughly ages 3 to 12. We do not have a nursery, so little ones stay with you.
- Free parking in our own lot right at the building, at 109 Maple Avenue.
Part of a wider family
Yorkton is one branch of Destiny Int'l Christian Assembly, which began in London in 2006. Our church here was established in 2011 and is led by Pastors Dag & Bukky Lawale.
